“A space to return to.
A rhythm to move with.
What you find here may shift with time, just as everything in nature does. Some pieces might settle in your thoughts; others might stir something unnamed. Some may arrive at just the right moment.
Whatever unfolds, we are here, whenever you choose to return”

Breathing with the Island: Samothraki and the Sovereignty of Breath
Samothraki rises from the northern Aegean as if carved by intention. Its steep slopes are wrapped in forest, where waterfalls tumble through shaded ravines and cold springs break through granite. From the ferry, the island appears as one vast mountain shouldering the sea, its summit often crowned with shifting cloud. The air carries both secrecy and welcome. To be here is to be drawn into a conversation with forces far older than our lives.

Solo traveling has helped me to channel my inner courage.
I got off the train, late and a bit overwhelmed and slightly hungry in the Nothern Italian town of Bolzano, I knew that while the first leg of this journey was done that the worst was yet to come. I was determined to get through the nightmare of the next couple of modes of transport, but the cable car up the mountain, followed by the small train to my mountain hotel, was a looming nightmare.
